Ugh. I want to get back to posting regularly, but there’s this thing called motivation that I just don’t have at the moment.
Anyway. Here’s a short piece for today’s Throwback Thursday post, written in the fall of 2014.

It began with a journey and an unfortunately-misplaced cat and a monstrous puddle of muck. The journey wasn’t meant to be a long one; she had just been walking from her house to town, after all. That was never long. But the cat—the cat had been black and green-eyed and loud, and everyone had noticed. And the puddle—well, the puddle was something you didn’t mess with unless you were wearing a raincoat and high boots. She had neither of these; and so at the moment things happened she wasn’t ready for them at all.

I wrote this paragraph intending it to be the start of a short story, I think. Maybe I’ll write the story one day.
That’s all for now, folks!

A very interesting blurb. The premise gets and keeps your attention. Following you to see how this turns out in the future….Just Do It!
